Student Senate upset about Roemer’s veto of K of C proposal

The S tudent Senate discussed its frustration and d isappointm ent over Dean o f Students Jam es R oem er’s veto of its proposal to allow the Knights o f Colum bus building to ren t its building for hall parties and studen t organizations. Many senators believe it is tim e to start having m ore of a voice in the decision making o f the University. “W e just sit back and take w hatever they give us,” said Bob Riley. “I think a middle ground m ust be found. We should be m ore assertive, show ing that w e are concerned .”
